ü  Eastern Geography Journal is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published twice a year in June and December and has been published since 1995.

ü  The main objective of the board of the Eastern Geography Journal is to bring the results of Atatürk University geographers to the attention of the scientific community. The ultimate goal is to focus on the geographical researches of the Caucasian and Central Asian Turkish countries in time and to include their results in our journal.

ü  Today, Journal of Geography East, Turkey and held in physical and human geography, world research, Geographic Information Systems, is a scientific journal that published the theoretical and practical issues related to remote sensing. The Journal of Eastern Geography can also include studies in the field of Geography Education and Social Sciences. Although the main motivation of the journal is geography studies, our journal is open to all kinds of original articles that carry out examinations within the scope of field education.

Writing Rules

ü  Manuscripts should not exceed 25 pages, including areas reserved for photographs, maps and other figures. Articles exceeding this limit are not published.

ü  Page structure of articles; Upper: 3 cm - Bottom: 3 cm - Right: 2,5 cm - Left: 2,5 cm should be. Header: 2 cm - Bottom: 2 cm. Line spacing in articles: Single, first line: 1.25, 6 nk space should be adjusted between the lines.

ü  At the beginning of the articles, there will be a summary in Turkish and English with the main theme and at least three keywords. Turkish and English abstracts should be followed by the beginning of the page. The abstract should be written as "Abstract". "Keywords" should be written adjacent.

ü  Manuscripts submitted to the Eastern Geography Journal should be prepared in the American Psychological Association (APA) style in terms of reference system, footnote format and bibliography.

ü  In the articles, the upper information will be included. For this purpose, the English name of the study will be written in italics on odd numbered pages and Turkish name will be written on odd numbered pages.

ü  The font is 10 points in Times New Roman. This font size will be 8.5 pt in the header field, 10 pt in table-photo-graphic names and 7-10 pt according to the table specification.

ü  The footnote on the first page containing the information about the author (s) should be indicated with *. Authors can place e-mail, ORCID ID and other address information in this section for communication with the reader.

ü  For articles with more than one author, the explanation of which titles or sub-titles are prepared by each author should be given as a second page six note.

ü  3D graphics that reduce print quality should be avoided. Graphs should not be drawn in Exel environment and pasted into a word file, graphics should be prepared in word text.

ü  Articles submitted for publication in the Journal of Eastern Geography are subject to a double-blind review by at least two referees.
